Big Time Rush Joins the 2011 Minnesota State Fair Concert Series

Four evenings of entertainment are confirmed for the 2011 Concert Series at the historic Minnesota State Fair Grandstand. Opening acts may be added to some shows.
Nickelodeon Television teen sensation Big Time Rush is confirmed for 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 27. Tickets are $35 and go on sale at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 26.
Tickets are available through Ticketmaster by calling 800-745-3000, or visiting www.ticketmaster.com or any Midwest Ticketmaster Ticket Center. In addition, the State Fair Box Office on the fairgrounds will be open for each scheduled on-sale date. For State Fair Box Office or mail order information, call (651) 288-4427.

New Nick Live Action Premieres March 5

This Saturday, March 5, Nickelodeon will have a night of brand-new episodes of three hit live-action series, filled with music, laughs and hilarious hijinks on beginning at 8:00 p.m. ET/PT. The night kicks off with the boys of Big Time Rush in “Big Time Songwriters,” featuring a new song “Oh Yeah.”

Stay tuned to see what happens next when a hot young filmmaker hits the halls of Hollywood Arts in the new Victorious episode, “A Film by Dale Squires,” followed by a new True Jackson, VP where True brings Mad Style fashion to mass retail in “True Mall.”

8:30pm ET/PT – Victorious “A Film by Dale Squires – When a hot young filmmaker comes to Hollywood Arts, the kids are excited to work on his project. But when the film is released and they aren’t given credit, the kids turn to revenge.

9:00pm ET/PT — True Jackson, VP “True Mall” – True and Lulu help open a Mad Style store at the mall where they meet a number of interesting characters.
