Big Time Rush Announces Debut UK Show at London’s Shepherds Bush Empire

America’s hottest new music group and stars of Nickelodeon’s smash hit show of the same name – Big Time Rush – will be heading to the UK for the very first time to play a show London’s O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire on 19th April 2011.

Big Time Rush, will be releasing their debut UK single on the 6th March 2011. Having already charmed their way into the nation’s hearts on their hit Nickelodeon show of the same name, Kendall, James, Carlos and Logan will be heard doing what they do best on the catchy pop-track ‘Boyfriend’; which also features the distinct vocal-styling of legendary rapper Snoop Dogg.

Hugely popular on both sides of the Atlantic, the band have already sold over 1.5 million combined digital tracks worldwide and their debut album, ‘BTR’,released on Columbia Records in the U.S.,landed the no. 3 spot on the Billboard Top 200 Albums chart last year.

Since its launch on Nickelodeon UK in May, the band’s globally successful series, ‘Big Time Rush’, consistently rates in the top three slots and reached over four million UK viewers last year alone. In addition, the ‘Big Time Rush’ section of Nickelodeon UK’s site received 2.5 million unique page views last year and during the band’s first trip to London earlier this month, they took part in a live global web chat for Nick.co.uk with over 50,000 questions submitted.
