Nickelodeon kicked off its “Crush Week” with a special night of brand-new episodes of Victorious, Big Time Rush and True Jackson, VP, hosted by platinum-selling pop sensation Justin Bieber–drawing 9 million total viewers and beating broadcast and basic cable with all kid and tween demos in the time period. Victorious “The Wood” (8 p.m. ET/PT) scored 4.4 million total viewers and won its timeslot on all TV with all kid and tween demos. Big Time Rush “Big Time Crush” (8:30 p.m. ET/PT), drew 3.9 million total viewers and scored basic cable’s top spot in its time period and on all TV with all kid demos. True Jackson, VP “True Fame!” (9 p.m. ET/PT) drew 3.1 million total viewers, scoring its highest-rated telecast with kids since 2009.
Big Time Rush “Big Time Crush” topped basic cable in its time slot with total viewers (3.9 million) and all TV with kids 6-11(8.8/1.9 million), tweens 9-14 (7.6/1.6 million) and kids 2-11 (6.5/2.3 million). The episode posted double-digit gains over last year’s like time period and bested the competition by double-digits with kids 6-11 (+83%), tweens 9-14 (+73%) and kids 2-11 (+76%). The telecast also ranks as the number two live-action program for the week with kids 2-11 and kids 6-11 (behind only Victorious). “Big Time Crush,” follows Kendall and Jo as they help Carlos find a date, and Logan flirts with a new girl while still confused about his feeling for Camille.
